Camp des Kaoris opened again on Saturday 10 April following the reopening of the Blue River Provincial Park on 5 April.

Welcome to “Camp des Kaoris” in the Blue River Provincial Park!
A children's paradise and the perfect destination for nature lovers, here you can stay in a wooden tent, caravan or tiny house, and get together with your fellow campers around the campfire or in the shared “faré”. During the day, everyone leaves the camp on foot, by bike or even in a kayak to explore the park and hopefully find a kagu!

*The 20 wooden tents each have a mattress and sleep up to 3 people, while the more comfortable and spacious “Pandanus” cabin has a small private outdoor living area with a fire pit.

*The tiny house is an unusual accommodation option with all your home comforts (kitchen, shower, toilet, large bed, etc.) in a compact 13 m2 space. A cosy choice, it is located away from the main camp for maximum calm and privacy. You only have to bring your bedding and food.

*The “Chariot de Merlin” caravan is the latest addition to the camp and sleeps 2 adults and 2 children on a 160 x 200 mattress and two 60 x 190 bunks. You can also request a travel cot.

*A family cabin, a dormitory cabin and hanging tents complete the offering at this huge campsite, which welcomes large groups and single travellers alike.

Camp des Kaoris has been designed to minimise its impact on the environment: the running water comes from a spring and the 220V electricity is generated by solar power. All the buildings are made from wood, which is a recyclable material.

Just one little thing you should be aware of: as you are staying in one of the most beautiful natural parks in the country, “lively parties” are not permitted on our site to enable all guests to enjoy the fabulous setting. We therefore have a rule of no noise after 10.30 pm.

You can book the entire site for 125 ,000 CFP.
