Enjoy a gentle first underwater experience in Hienghène with a supervised introductory dive, in a sheltered site ideal for discovering the beauty of the lagoon and the unique sensations of the underwater world.

Babou Côté Océan invites you to enjoy your first scuba diving experience in a reassuring and exceptional setting, surrounded by Hienghène’s spectacular marine landscapes. Available from 12 years old, this introductory dive is designed for beginners wanting to discover scuba diving in comfortable and safe conditions. The boat takes you out to the islet, where the naturally sheltered environment is especially well suited to a first immersion.

After an introduction to the equipment and basic principles, you enter the water with an instructor who accompanies one participant at a time. This initiation dive takes place in shallow water, down to a maximum depth of 6 metres, and lasts around 25 to 30 minutes. It is a wonderful opportunity to experience breathing underwater, the sensation of weightlessness, and the first wonders of marine life.

Led by a professional team, this activity is perfect for anyone wanting to try something unforgettable and discover the lagoon from a different perspective, in a destination renowned for the beauty of its scenery and underwater environment.

Diving companion for the introductory dive: 5,000 XPF, subject to approval by the dive centre.
