La Résidence

Thematic house in Moindou
  • A great opportunity to discover the local architectural heritage.

  • This old colonial residence was part of a 100-hectare property, granted by the governor in 1874 to a settler named Jean-Louis Casimir Boyer who was very attracted by the forested aspect of the region. With his men, he created a magnificent coffee shop called "La Résidence".
Today, this lovely period home is inhabited, but it is still visible from the road and has in no way lost the charm of yesteryear.
