  • The pontoon of the Poé underwater trail allows you to take a break after a long kayak or paddle ride, or simply take the time to rest to better appreciate the beauty of the underwater world afterwards.

The Poé underwater trail has been laid out and marked with buoys to allow people equipped with flippers, masks and snorkels to enjoy the beauty of the New Caledonian lagoon, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008. It is equipped with a pontoon located in the middle of the diving area which can be used as a rest area if necessary. Although the main objective of a snorkelling trip to Poé remains the observation of fish, rays, turtles and corals, one can also often observe seabirds, such as terns, resting on the pontoon of the under-sea path, which is a delight for birdwatchers and photographers.

You'll need snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel and/or fins for those who wish). This equipment can be rented on guided glass-bottom boat trips.
