of New Caledonia Tourism

New Caledonia Tourism (NCT) is the international destination marketing organisation (DMO) of New Caledonia. Operating under the authority of the New Caledonian Government, this economic interest group, based in Nouméa and with three overseas representation offices, serves as the bridge between institutions and industry professionals to promote the destination and attract visitors.

NCT’s responsibilities include promoting New Caledonia abroad, monitoring tourism trends, supporting sector investment, and coordinating the national Tourism & Cruise strategy.

Our Missions

  • Strategy

    Engage, mobilise, and coordinate all tourism stakeholders around a shared strategic framework.

  • Communication

    Deliver international communication campaigns and digital content to strengthen destination awareness and appeal.

  • Marketing

    Develop and implement sales campaigns in partnership with tour operators and airlines.

  • Media Relations

    Provide information, invitations, and regular hosting of international media and influencers to ensure wide coverage.

  • Statistics

    Conduct, collect, and share tourism research and data through the Tourism Observatory to inform decision-making.

  • Training

    Provide training and support to international travel sellers to increase their knowledge of New Caledonia and encourage promotion to their clients.

  • Events

    Organise or support international events that enhance the attractiveness and reputation of the destination.

  • Support

    Advise, connect, and assist project developers, investors, and service providers with local and international networks.
