By visiting xmas.newcaledonia.travel from 1 December, audiences can follow the iconic cagou bird from island to island, unlocking a new New Caledonia surprise each day.
Celebrity testimonies, paddle-boarding challenges, music clips, local recipes, documentaries, craft tutorials, quizzes and personality tests are just some of the many engaging content pieces created to surprise, inform and immerse participants in the destination.
A range of exclusive prized to be won
Christmas means gifts, obviously. Throughout the campaign, several instant-win moments will allow participants to “catch” prizes inspired by the New Caledonia travel experience: gourmet hampers, outdoor gear, lagoon excursions, cameras and travel accessories.
All participants will also be automatically entered into the major Christmas grand draw for a chance to win return flights to Noumea from Australia or New Zealand, courtesy of Aircalin.
While the game is accessible worldwide, only these two regions are eligible for prizes.

To support the initiative on our two key source markets, New Caledonia Tourism will roll out an extensive communication campaign across social media, its websites and through newsletter subscribers. Several influencers who have previously collaborated with the destination will also take part.
This year-end initiative aims both to reconnect with fans of the destination after a challenging period and to attract new traveller profiles. It closes the recovery year in a fun and engaging way, complementing the “New Caledonia, New Start!” campaigns.
By driving strong daily traffic to Caledonian Xmas, the goal is to firmly re-establish New Caledonia in the minds of future travellers and convince them of its rich natural and cultural appeal.
