
From 4 March to 23 April 2025, New Caledonia Tourism was proud to once again partner with the Alliance Française Australia as a sponsor of their 36th French Film Festival — one of the most popular francophone cultural events in the country — enjoying exceptional visibility in 20 cities and over 6,100 screenings nationwide.
This collaboration offered a unique opportunity to showcase our destination to a wide audience of French culture lovers, with:
- 198,277 cinema ad views before each screening (double the reach of 2024)
- 147,400 printed programs featuring our full-page ad
- 34,868 EDM sends with an impressive 48.5% open rate
- 71,834 video and banner views on the festival’s official website
This strategic partnership helped boost awareness of New Caledonia among an engaged audience — mostly Australian (75%), female (73%), and aged between 25 and 54 (60%) — highly receptive to our promise of authenticity and escape: “New Caledonia, A New Chapter Awaits!”
