Baie de la Somme – Prony, 98809 Mont-Dore
Departing from Baie de la Somme, explore the lush and legendary Casy Island, the thermal springs and other treasures of the Great South!
Marc and Nicole will meet you in Baie de la Somme for a getaway to Casy island, a marine reserve in the South Province. Don’t forget to bring your fins, mask, snorkel, shoes, mat and hammock! The programme includes swimming with the turtles, walks along the hiking trails and a nap under the trees. You’ll be watched with interest by the sea eagles, white-throated pigeons and green pigeons!

Named after Admiral Casy in 1854, the island was first home to the tribes of Ouen Island, followed by workers from the Prony prison camp. Casy Express organises transfers, same-day excursions and camping trips with guided history walks of the island. You can also choose to visit the thermal springs, go humpback whale watching (in season) or go fishing.

As a signatory of the lagoon ambassador network, Marc NEGRELLO of Casy Express is committed to protecting the marine environment by informing visitors about regulations and the preservation of natural environments

*Transfers every weekend, to be confirmed by Marc.
