Take the ferry to the Isle of Pines and the Loyalty Islands (Maré, Lifou)! An affordable journey with stunning views from the deck of the ferry.

For almost 15 years, the BETICO2 has been operating sea connections between Nouméa, the Isle of Pines and the Loyalty Islands.

The vessel can welcome up to 355 passengers on board. Most of the crew members are originally from New Caledonia and the Isle of Pines, and will be more than happy to share their local tips for your stay!

On board, you’re free to move around between the lounges, the main deck, the upper deck, or the outdoor terrace.

During the crossing, the “Sun Deck” offers an unbeatable vantage point to enjoy the open sea and the approach to the islands.

Located on the main deck, the onboard snack bar is at your service throughout the trip.
You’ll find a wide selection of options: breakfast and meal deals, snacks, hot and cold drinks, souvenirs, tourist products, magazines for both adults and kids, and local newspapers.

Depending on weather conditions and outside manoeuvre times, you may even request a visit to the bridge during the crossing.

Several sailings are scheduled each week. From Nouméa, the Betico takes you to Kuto Bay (Isle of Pines) in just 2h30, and also provides regular services to Maré and Lifou. Good news: the Betico 2 also takes your bicycles on board free of charge when you travel!

On board or at the ferry terminal, occasional activities and entertainment will give you the chance to share great moments of conviviality.
