The Ida-Marc estate produces a rare and precious coffee variety: Bourbon Pointu, also known as Leroy coffee.
Located in Farino, in the southern province of the island, the estate covers 14 hectares. It is situated in an area considered the most suitable for Arabica production due to the natural factors present (soil, sun, rain, and winds). Between 2013 and 2016, extensive planting of more than 10,000 Bourbon Pointu, Yellow, and Typica coffee trees was carried out, giving a new boost to production.
