Looking to explore New Caledonia off the beaten track? Just 30 minutes from Nouméa, Dzumac Tour offers a range of 4WD buggy experiences through the Dzumac massif, taking you deep into the bush across forest trails, river crossings, mountain tracks and breathtaking viewpoints.
Comfortably seated in buggies driven by experienced guides, you can fully enjoy the scenery without worrying about the driving. Each tour is designed as an immersive outdoor experience, combining nature discovery, light thrills and shared moments in the heart of New Caledonia’s wilderness.
As the only operator approved by the Southern Province, Dzumac Tour has privileged access to protected natural areas normally closed to the public, including the Haute-Dumbéa Reserve, Dumbéa Park and the Côte Oubliée Park. Routes often follow former mining and forestry tracks, with regular stops to observe local wildlife, endemic flora and traces of the region’s rich history.
Tours run in small groups, using modern and comfortable buggies (up to 3 passengers per vehicle), each equipped with two-way radios. Passionate, French/English bilingual guides share local insights and stories throughout the journey, ensuring a friendly, safe and engaging experience.
No licence or driving experience is required — the guides do all the driving. All you have to do is sit back, take in the views and enjoy an authentic adventure, whether you’re travelling as a couple, with friends, family or colleagues.
