As the only operator approved by the Southern Province, Dzumac Tour offers exclusive access to protected natural areas including the Haute-Dumbéa Reserve, the Dumbéa Park and the Côte Oubliée Park. You’ll travel in small groups, in modern 3-passenger buggies equipped with radios for communication between vehicles. Tour Schedule
• Departure point: Parc Fayard in Dumbéa (parking and restrooms available).
• Schedule:
Morning tour – meet at 7:45 am, departure at 8:00 am.
Afternoon tour – meet at 12:45 pm, departure at 1:00 pm.
• Guided by a French/English bilingual guide.
Access Conditions
• Activity open to participants from 1.30 m to 1.90 m tall.
• Good physical condition required – some tracks can be challenging.
• Minors must be accompanied by an adult (maximum 2 minors per adult).
• Maximum total weight per buggy: 350 kg for 3 passengers.
• Not recommended for people with vertigo or specific health issues (medical advice suggested).
Safety
• Seatbelts required and noise-reduction helmets provided.
• Two-way radios available in each vehicle.
• Guides are first-aid trained and carry an emergency distress beacon.
Recommended Equipment
• Comfortable clothing suitable for a dusty outdoor activity: closed shoes, long or sturdy clothes, sunglasses, hat or cap.
• Bring sunscreen, water bottle, warm layer, and rain jacket.
• Limited storage space: one small backpack per person maximum.
