The Church of the Holy Cross of Penelo was built in 1910 and inaugurated in 1915.
Located near the chiefdom of Penelo in the southeast of the island. the Church of the Holy Cross of Penelo was built in 1910 and inaugurated in 1915. Renovated many times due to bad weather, it celebrated its centenary in 2015, reviving part of the island's history.
