On the eve of Bastille Day, the city is lit up with a warm and festive atmosphere during the traditional lantern parade.
As night falls, 6,000 lanterns are handed out to participants at Place Bir-Hakeim, the starting point of a dazzling illuminated procession. Young and old alike are invited to join the parade through the streets in a joyful and friendly atmosphere, all the way to Place des Cocotiers.
