The evening before Bastille Day, a festive lantern parade lights up the city as thousands of lanterns are carried from Place de la Moselle (American Memorial) to Place des Cocotiers, followed by a lively public dance.
On the eve of Bastille Day, the city is lit up with a warm and festive atmosphere during the traditional lantern parade.
As night falls, 6,000 lanterns are handed out to participants at Place de la Moselle (American Memorial), the starting point of a dazzling illuminated procession. Young and old alike are invited to join the parade through the streets in a joyful and friendly atmosphere, all the way to Place des Cocotiers.

At the end of the route, the celebrations continue with family-friendly entertainment and a variety of food options available on site. The evening concludes with a lively public dance, inviting everyone to dance under the stars in a festive, musical setting.
