Terms and conditions

So Frenchy So Chic New Caledonia Competition Game of chance

Information on how to enter and ‘prizes’ form part of the Terms and Conditions of Entry.

Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other reference to this competition, these Terms and Conditions prevail.

1. The Promoter

The Promoter is: New Caledonia Tourism c/o Nouvelle Vague Marketing (ABN 19 638 896 385) Level 2 – 65-71 Belmore Road – Randwick 2031 NSW. The abovementioned company will be hereafter jointly referred to as the ‘Promoter.’

The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

2. Prize description and value

There will one (1) winner and (1) prize awarded.

The prize details are:

  • Return economy flights for 2 to Nouméa from Sydney or Brisbane or Melbourne with Aircalin (only on Aircalin operated flights)
  • Return airport transfers for 2
  • 5 nights at Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Noumea for 2 people including breakfast daily

The total prize value is $3250 AUD.

Prize value is recommended retail price and is subject to change. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. This prize is not transferable, not redeemable for cash and may not be combined with any other promotion. The prize is not refundable and cannot be upgraded. The prize winner cannot change, vary or substitute the prize.

3. Entry conditions

To enter and to be eligible to win the prize

Entrants must comply with the following conditions during the Contest Period: The competition commences on 14 January 2024 at 09.00 am Sydney time (AEST) until 28th January 2024 at 11:59pm Sydney time (AEST). After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

Entrants must, during the Competition Period, Visit au.newcaledonia.travel and follow the links to register their details including, without limitation, name and valid e-mail address. Failure to provide the requested information will render the entry invalid. By entering this contest, the entrants may, at their sole discretion, choose to subscribe to the Promoter and it partner’s e-newsletters. In the case the entrant does want to receive information newsletters, they must click the “Enews” box in the entry form and follow the prompts to register.

If an Entrant’s contact details change during the Contest Period, the Entrant must promptly notify the Promoter of the relevant change. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be in writing and directed to Promoter.

Entry is open to all residents of Australia. You must be 18 or older to participate into this competition.

Entrants may only enter once.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

Shall not be permitted to enter the competition

Employees of the Promoter or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition.

4. Draw

The winner will be drawn at random on Wednesday, January 30th, 2024 at 2:00pm Sydney time (AEST) at the Promoter’s premises. The first valid entry drawn will win the prize detailed in point 2. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The winner’s name will be announced at the Promoter’s premises.

The Winner will be notified by email within 2 business days of the draw and the Winner will have 3 months to respond with their details to claim the prize. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 3 months of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. Should the prize remain unclaimed, another prize draw will take place on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 at 2:00pm Sydney time (AEST) at the Promoter’s premises. The unclaimed prize winner will be notified by email within 2 business days of the unclaimed prize draw. The unclaimed prize winner’s names will be announced at the promoter’s premises on the 2nd of May 2024 on au.newcaledonia.travel.

The draw result will be published at au.newcaledonia.travel/so-frenchy-so-chic-competition/ and/or www.facebook.com/newcaledoniatourism within two business days after the draw date/s for 28 days. The prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State and Territory legislation. Cash will not be awarded as a substitute. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and prize supplier’s requirements. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.

The winner must consent to the use of their name (including posting first name and last initial) and/or photo for promotional purposes and media editorial requests regarding this contest, without compensation. Their name will be posted on au.newcaledonia.travel/so-frenchy-so-chic-competition/ and/or www.facebook.com/newcaledoniatourism after the prize is awarded. This information may not be published elsewhere without the written permission of the Promoter.

5. Competition

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions subject to written directions from the relevant regulatory authorities, in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.

The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Australian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
