Philippe Bruot, the passionate owner of the distillery, began exploring the secrets of distillation in his childhood. In 2016, he took on the challenge of becoming the first rum producer in New Caledonia, offering a range crafted from fresh, responsibly grown products. Since December 2020, the distillery has also been producing the first Caledonian whisky, marking a significant step in its ongoing innovation.
