Embark on a traditional pirogue for a timeless journey in Upi Bay, on the Isle of Pines!

A trip aboard a pirogue in the Upi Bay is an opportunity to experience the knowledge and traditions of the fishermen of the Isle of Pines. Kou Bugny excursions invites you to take part in this authentic one-day trip, departing from the hotel.

Program :
Departure from the hotel at 7.45 am by bus, direction Saint-Joseph bay, where you will board a traditional pirogue. Your piroguier will take you for a 2-hour walk in Upi Bay between the large coral rocks on the water. Look out for turtles and rays! You will then continue your walking tour (40 minutes) to reach Oro Bay and its famous natural pool. Lunch is not included in the price of the excursion, so remember to book your picnic lunch the day before by 6pm or plan to have lunch at Le Meridien restaurant.

The hotel bus will pick you up at 3pm at the car park near Le Meridien.

All excursions must be booked with the hotel reception by 18:00 the day before for the following day. Children benefit from a reduced rate.
