The program includes a short talk on Kanak medicinal plants, a demonstration of cast net fishing, crossing a stretch of dry forest, crossing a channel (beware of the current) and swimming in the pass opposite the islet Unyée. The highlight of the visit is the mangrove where several species of shark come to breed: lemon, black fin or coral. Come close to the nursery, make no noise and observe this unusual spectacle.
