Recharge your batteries in this comfortable hotel located in Port-Boisé Bay, in the far south of New Caledonia!
Far from the hustle and bustle of Nouméa, Kanua Tera Ecolodge lies on the southernmost point of New Caledonia, at the entrance to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Parc du Grand Lagon Sud. With its traditional architecture, the building blends in beautifully with the bay’s idyllic natural setting. The bungalows look out onto the sea, the white sand beach is right at your feet and turtles sometimes pop their heads out of the water! The 18 “tropical” and “Melanesian” bungalows all feature a queen bed, bathroom, air conditioning and small fridge. The perfectly positioned restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. On the activities front, the lagoon is the perfect place for a spot of snorkelling or paddle boarding (available for hire). The Sentier des Bagnards (Convicts’ Trail) is a great walking trail that starts from the hotel.
